Alex is a freelance bass player, music tutor and clinician based in the UK, graduated in Popular Music Performance – Bmus(Hons) at the London College Of Music, he moved to London in 2008. Born in Rome, Alex began his musical training at an early age studying piano, and at seventeen he then realized that playing the bass was his vocation. Coupled with his collaborative work ethic Alex went on to play with numerous local bands.While completing his studies in London, he started holding his masterclass focused on advanced bass techniques in world-renowned UK music colleges such as Tech Music School, the Institute Of Contemporary Music Performance in London, and several Academies of Music and Sound throughout Britain.

As an endorsee Alex attended the most influential European music shows such as the London Bass Guitar Show, Euro Bass Day, Music Italy Show and Musikmesse in Frankfurt, representing premium music instrument manufacturers as Hartke, Rotosound, Laurus and Gruv Gear. On the other hand Alex has developed his Mega-Workshops lecture, a series of specialization courses aimed to develop music skills and understanding of the rhythm section in funk and rock music.

Alex has extensively toured the UK, France, Italy and Holland with bands, musicals and his masteclasses, he also contributes to Bass Musician Magazine, Chitarre and Jazzitalia with teaching material, and he has been interviewed in Bass Guitar Magazine and Bass Quarterly.
