THE BREW
Hailing from Grimsby (UK) The Brew are one of the most exciting, vibrant and talked about bands of recent times.
On guitar is 19 year-old Jason Barwick. He shows all the makings of being a fusion of the talents of Hendrix, Page and Stevie Ray Vaughn and is Tipped to be one of the UK top ten guitarists. His talent has to be seen to be believed, he plays with the maturity, fluidity and clarity of those three times his age. With Jason all you need to know is that when Hendrix first appeared his entire fellow guitarists had up their playing to compete, Jason does the same with another generation.
Together with band member Kurtis Smith (20), Nicked-named “The Bruce Lee of the Drum Kit”, they’ve opened a new chapter in British Power Rock History. Clearly influenced by the music of the late 60’s early 70’s, they have recreated the genre, greatly helped by third member Tim Smith (father of Kurt) on bass and vocals.
The Brew’s latest album “The Joker” became a hit in Poland, with the single reaching number 10.
Having done special shows with Rockpalast, Germany, with the likes of Joe Bonamassa, they feature regularly on TV, Radio, and in Music magazines across Europe.
The Brew are considered to have one of the brightest musical futures ahead of them!
