Nishith Hegde, is better known as the guitar player of the Horror metal band Albatross and also Symphonic death metal band Demonic resurrection and has been highly appreciated by metal guitar legends such as Andy James for his extreme lead chops and melodic playing style. He is one of the most well known faces in Heavy Metal and his contribution to the development of the music and the scene is unmatched. He is also one of the most socially active and approachable musicians today and is known as much for his marketing and promotions as he is for his music.
Starting out in 2009 he joined Albatross, one of India’s best known and biggest metal bands. The band has continued for 5 years and have made a name for themselves locally and globally. The band toured Australia once they released their second EP the Kissing Flies. They band shared the stage with Vanishing Point in Melbourne, Hobbs Angel of Death in Sydney and the Darker Half in Wollongong. Nishith is also endorsed by ESP guitars in India and is the youngest ESP Endorsee.
In 2011 he also joined the Demonstealers death metal project Reptilian Death. Reptilian death released their second full length album, The Dawn of Consumation Via Old school records. Later in 2013 he also joined death metal giants Demonic Resurrection.
Dermonic Resurrection also played the Dubai Rock Fest that happened in May this year and has also been confirmed for Les Fest in Scotland and Wacken Open Air, Germany and have a series of gigs
lined up in the UK. Looking at the current trend Nishith will be playing at least 30 international gigs going forward besides the 200 odd national gigs.

The band played at the Bloodstock Festival in the UK in 2012.
