MARTIN COOPER

As a session player Martin has toured the world playing in venues such as Manchester Arena in the UK and Edmonton’s Rexall Place in Canada, as well as such legendary studios as Abbey Road and RAK, and BBC TV appearances.

He is also a tutor at the Brighton Institute of Modern Music and a monthly columnist for Guitar Techniques magazine, composing and performing a Rock track each month in the style of artists such as Van Halen, Deep Purple and Mr Big.

Martin is also lead vocalist and one of two guitar players along with Neil Costello for the Rock band Thorntree, who are scheduled released their debut album ‘Bulletproof’ on iTunes and Amazon mp3 Worldwide in August 2012, with a physical release set for the fall of 2012. With influences ranging from Led Zeppelin and Cream to the Foo Fighters the album is set to appeal to a wide range of Rock fans. Watch out for 2012 tour dates on the band’s website.

Martin plays Roto Blues 10-52 on his electric guitars and JK12s on his acoustic guitar.
