ALEX HUTCHINGS
Alex has played in many top venues in and around the country, Festivals and clubs abroad, Sha la la music Club Cypress (6 weeks) Austrian festivals, Cannes Film France, Gibraltar Tri-centenary events as well as the Green Dolphin club (South Africa.) And the coco blues club (Thailand). Some English venues include
• Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club, Pizza Express Soho, 606 jazz club
• Glastonbury Festival
• Edinburgh Jazz Festival
• Isle of Wight Jazz Festival
In 2002 Alex Won the National Guitar Competition ran by Erine Ball. After entering from the magazine guitar techniques he won his place into the regional heat and was chosen to compete in the final at the Music Live show at the N.E.C. Then winning the grand final he earned his custom made Axis super sport valued at £2000.
In 2004 Alex co wrote the smash hit theme from the Brainiac series now in its fourth series, as well as being released on various DVD’s.
2005/6 saw Alex perform live on various radio stations with recording artists the Honeyriders amongst others and two global TV apperences, audience figures were in the millions.
In 2006/7 Alex composed Music for BBC Television and radio as well as other short films privately commissioned.
